This is America, and we are free to shop wherever we choose. But I happen to feel that it is a fine thing to shop American, when we can. I salute the Big Y chain of supermarkets in our area for consistently extending themselves in service to our communities. A special effort is made to hire our high school students and our seniors who are struggling with boredom and a fixed income. They concistently make an effort to provide working hours for mothers needing a second income, but restricted by school schedules. They encourage their employees to march in our local parades. They support Green strategies and many charitable causes.
CLUE: The Autobot Letterbox is located at the Ansonia Shopping Center on Main Street. However you enter the shopping center, you will want to get behind the stores. There is a continuous wall of trees running between the stores and the road. Follow along this wall of trees until you come to a small gap through which you can see: THE ROAD, THE CROSSWALK, A STONE PILLAR TOPPED WITH A LANTERN AND FLANKING THE DRIVEWAY, AND A ROUND SECTION OF THE STAINED GLASS WINDOWS IN HOLY ROSARY CHURCH. (Hint: This is all behind the stores which are closest to the church. You know that you are in the right spot if you see "Fire Lane" painted on the pavement.)) Go to one of the trees/shrubs that stand on either side of the gap. At the base, between the trunks and covered with mulch is the Autobot Letterbox. Please hide it carefully.
