The Leezards spent the last weekend in August camping on Lake Logan in Hocking Hills. The weekend was beautiful and our campsite was on a small hill overlooking the lake. We had a great time fishing, boating, swimming and looking for The Three W's letterbox. But my favorite part of camping is sitting around the campfire on a clear starry night eating s'mores! This letterbox was planted to recognize what a great time we had, especially around the campfire. In fact, we had so much fun, we almost forgot to plant the box! (Hence the truly simplistic clues!)

Clues:
Locate Lake Logan State Park. This is an unusual state park. There are little pieces of it in spots beside the lake. Across the street from the Lake Logan State Park beach, there is a large parking lot. Park there.

There used to be a separate office for this state park. (It has since been merged with Old Man's Cave.) Start at the barrier with the stop sign that prevents you from reaching the old park office building.

Bearing approximately 320 degrees, walk to the first pine tree that has been mowed around. Bearing 100 degrees from this tree, and taking about 6 steps, you will find another pine tree just inside the unmown portion. You will find the box in the tall grass behind this tree.

If all of this hard work has caused you to work up a sweat, take a dip in the lake or head down to Lake Logan Campground where you can take a 3-min shower for 25 cents.
