FINDING THE DAISY TROOP 10373 LETTERBOX:
From the parking lot, go through the main gate (there will be a welcome sign here). Follow the sign for Lower Pond, bearing right and going past the utility shed. Cross the bridge and continue on the dirt path which bears left. Soon you will see a sign for “Pavilion/Playground”. Do not head towards that, but instead continue straight, past the sign. Cross over a bridge and walk up the hill to Lower Pond. The park holds a children’s free fishing derby here every opening day.

After admiring the pond, bear right along the edge of the pond. Cross over a small foot bridge and climb the wooden stairs. Bear left and follow the trail along the edge of the pond. Soon you will cross a small bridge, and then cross over a fallen tree. Continue on the path. Immediately start looking for a small boulder on your right, not far off the path. The boulder is between two trees and there is a 4’ stump to the right of the boulder. Continue on the path a short distance until you see a fallen tree that is touching the right side of the path. From this fallen tree, take 20 steps. Then look to your right for a small dead tree stump with the top broken off and two bird holes in the top of it. There is also a bird hole on the upper right side of the stump. Look just past the stump and spy two fallen trees that are wedged onto other trees. The second fallen tree is wedged into the “Y” of a tree. The box you seek is at the foot of the “Y” tree with the fallen tree on it. Once you have stamped in, re-hide the letterbox well using the bark and return the way you came back to the parking lot.

Please note, the first 30 people to find our Daisy letterbox will find a special treasure to take home that was made by our Daisy girls.
