The Henry Hudson trail is currently a 10 mile stretch of former railbed, that has been converted to a paved trail for walkers, bikers and equestrians (although I have never seen a horse). It runs from Keyport to Atlantic Highlands, with numerous parking areas in betweeen. For info on parking and a trail map, go here:

The clues for these boxes are quite simple. You can do a one way, or return trip if you can't get a car shuttle set up. Where did I start from? Now wouldn't that just ruin all your fun?
Henry Hudson Trail logo box -
A little while after mile 3 (this is painted on the pavement, no markers, and make sure it is mile 3, not just 3) you will come across the Continental Bridge from Minnesota. Stop here. The box is under the southeast corner of the bridge. Please rehide well, as this is an access point for the locals.
Halve Maen box -
Travelling east of billboards 6754 and 6755, you will notice a split rail fence on the north side of the path. There is a small retaining wall here, with four pilings jutting out. Can you guess which piling the box is under?
