Marco Polo is planted in loving memory of cousin Marc whose life ended too soon. Marc was born & raised in Hudson, not too far from this school. When they were young Marc & Polly used to come down to this pond to catch frogs. One of Marc’s favorite places was the beach. We hope you have as much fun finding this shell as Marc did swimming & finding shells at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, MA.

Approximate time 30 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

CLUES:
Go to the C.A. Farley School at 119 Cottage St. in Hudson, MA
Drive around to the back & park by the wooden fence.
Look across the grassy area & spot the trail entrance.
Follow the trail to the pond.
Here the trail goes to the right through a stone wall, look for the two sister tree on the left.
As you continue on you will see a field of rocks on your left.
After the dip in the trail look for a small path on your left.
Enter the path & stop between the large rocks.
From here count 12 steps & there will be a large rock just ahead to the right.
Look to your left & count 3 rocks back toward the skinny tree.
Behind this third rock Marco Polo hides.

Please rehide carefully.
HAPPY LETTERBOXING!
