Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 1 mile RT)
Recommended Ink: brown & blue
Status: alive
Twin Falls is one of several nice swimming holes on Barton Creek and very popular in summer. So bring your swimming suit when you look for this minibox.
Directions:
From Hwy 1 in Austin, exit onto Hwy 360 west and go south on Hwy 1 access road. Go past the Hwy 1 entrance and park on side of the road by Twin Falls trail head.
Clues:
Walk north on the trail for about .5 mile to Twin Falls (trail splits a few times but comes back together). At the falls the trail comes to rocks about 4 feet high that you must climb up. Go right up slope on a small path for 60 steps as it makes several switchbacks to 3 oak trees growing together on the left. Minibox is behind the far right tree under rocks. Be careful and please re-cover well.
