Hello all adventurous people!
The Spectacle Island letterbox can be found..YES you guessed it on Spectacle Island!
As you arrive to Island (plenty of info on Island online)
you take a left at end of ramp of boat dock away from tourist center.
Take a quick look to your right and you should see the Ranger HOME base. This is a private full time resident tent. As you proceed up the trail (it is 5 miles around island so we hid treasure at start so disabled or tired
people can still participate easily) you should notice a BLUE sign dictating North and South. Enjoy the pretty wild flowers to your rt and the rocky beach to your left. The letterbox sits under the shade of a small tree in a plastic water proof container. The tree is close to the blue North South trail sign with a rock at base of it just after the first row of drainage rocks. Sidenote:Notice the black pipes for gas release since this is a dump site from years back.
