Welcome to the Auburn Public Library Letterboxing Series!

**Temporarily unavailable 12/8/14**

This series was created originally for the summer reading theme "GO GREEN" at the Auburn Public Library in 2010. It has since been updated to meet the growing demand for more letterboxing hunts in the library.

*Boxes may be found in both the Children's Room and the Young Adult Section.*

1. In this area you will find
books that can blow your mind.
But first you must find your claim to fame
and find the section on the human brain.

2. Katniss was the girl on fire
I’m sure her actions you will admire.
She's a character in this popular trilogy
on her author’s shelf you will find me.

3. Red, green and blues are found
in his work colors sure abound.
His famous work The Hungry Caterpillar you must attest
Find the spot where this author’s books rest.

4. Though his tales we thought you’d dread
these creepy tales give you thrills and chills instead.
We’re sure Goosebumps will arise
find our box where this author lies.

5. Upon this earth they used to roam
long before you called it home.
Whether they be beasts big or small
the dinosaur section is where you can find them all.

6. A boy and his puppy, a girl and her bunny
are books filled with tales to make everything sunny.
Cynthia Rylant writes just for you
On her shelf you definitely will find a few books more than two.

7. Middle school just torments me
so I jot my adventures in my diary.
I proudly proclaim “I am the wimpy kid”
And this is where our box is hid.

8. Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus
but I’m sure he will make a fuss.
To beat him to our box you must be fast
and don’t let him win because it’s the last.

Congratulations! You have completed a wonderful adventure! If you enjoyed looking for these letterboxes visit www.letterboxing.org to find more letterboxes in your area.
