Directions:

This is a mini-letterbox located in Alta. It is accessible ONLY from June to
September.

Drive up Little Cottonwood Canyon to the town of Alta.

Go past the information booth in the top parking lot at Alta and drive on
the dirt road all the way to the end where the campground is and park in the
parking lot.

From parking lot, take the trail that heads down to the restrooms on your
right.

Keep going until you see the Supreme chair lift on your left.

Just before the lift, a trail on your right heads down.

Cross a little wood bridge. Keep going and cross a 2nd wood bridge. they
are very short.

From the end of the 2nd bridge, walk about 12 steps.

On your left is a small trail between 2 large pine trees.

From the root in the dirt that crosses the trail between the 2 pines, walk
about 18 to 20 more steps up the trail. Stop.

On your right, very close to the trail is a multi-trunked pine tree.

The letterbox is under rocks at the front where the 2 large trunks split.

Be VERY careful not to disturb area plant life, and VERY careful not to let
anyone see you remove or put back the box. This is a very busy location,
especially on weekends.
