The Mystery Begins at 420 Titicut Avenue, also known as the Raynham Middle School. Find the clues numbering 1 to Lucky 13 Hint: you need to know the year the school was built, it is on the brick sign driving into the Raynham Middle School.

1. How many fire hydrants are in front of the school?
2. How many trash receptacles (trash barrels) are in the front of the school?
3. How many flag poles are in front of the school?
4. How many sets of doors are in front of the school, on the cement? (count 2 times this could be tricky)
5. How many rocks in front of the school?
6. How many “bumps” in the bike stand?
7. Do you get how it works now? Face the school and start to walk left. You will pass door 18, 17, and if you find 16 you are going the right way.
8. How many big white lines are there? (if you can’t find them, look at the road)
9. Look for this number 9 on a door.
10. Add up the number of nets and courts between the tennis and basket ball areas.
11. Walk between the courts to the road and how many parking spaces are there next to the tennis and basketball courts?
12. If you are facing the school, go left and keep walking, and find the stop sign. Add how many sides plus how many letters.
Lucky 13! Find the awning with “The Raynham Channel”. The Channel is on channel 19. Add up how many letters are on the awning. Subtract the door number under the awning and add the last digit from the year the school was built: You should get the lucky 13.

Once you found 13, turn around and face the road. Find the telephone pole in the parking lot across the street. Take the path to the left of it and go left. You will see a Public Water sign. (the do not trespass is regarding teh facility itself) Continue on the path around the corner and you will see the Water Facility. Find the tan gate and take a left, rounding the building and following the path. A big field will be in front of you. This is Raynham’s unofficial Dog Park. There is a path down the middle, a big rock on your left, and a scarce path to the right. Take this one. Don’t go to the fenced in area with the hydrant, that’s too right.
Find the three rocks painted blue. Continue going straight. Look for the Christmas trees on the right. Find the wood pile and look for the log with the letter “J”. We also put a broken brick on top to make it easier to find for little kids.

We hope you enjoyed finding the first Letterbox in Raynham!
What to know.. bring your dog and bug spray, this is a mosquito area. There is a gun club in the area NO WORRIES THOUGH, so if you hear gun fire, you will know why.. and yes, it is near a school. Never an issue, just noisey. The woods are teaming with wild life.. deers, turkeys, and even coyotes can be seen at dusk.. although you do not go into the woods, you are near them. Use good judgement and go during day light hours. There is a track here as well. Small kids ride their bikes on the track and moms can get a lap or two in.. Enjoy
