Waterford Beach Park
317 Great Neck Road Waterford, CT

Clues:
-Right after the entrance to Waterford Beach Park, there will be tennis courts on your left. Park there.
-Once you’re parked, walk out of the parking lot and turn left onto the grass. Head straight for the BIG tree.
-Walk counterclockwise around the tree and watch out for the root that resembles an elephant’s trunk. This root will point in the direction of a telephone pole, your next destination.
-Up ahead, you will see the O’Neills Theater Sign, make your way there.
-Count the number of letter e’s on the sign. Take that many giant leaps, starting at the tree behind the sign.
-Look to your right and head to the smaller of the two big trees. ***Please watch out for cars.
-Find the ‘Box Office’ and skip over to the back side of the Box Office. Behind it you will find something that goes “riiiiing!”
-Walk to the stonewall behind it and search for a small gazebo which will be your next destination.
-Once in the gazebo, take time to enjoy the beautiful ocean view.
-Facing the ocean, turn left and you will see a grouping of white crosses and a white statue. Make your way in that direction. ***Be careful descending down the sloping rock. If this rock looks too dangerous, turn right and you will find a clear path surrounded by tall grass that you are able to walk down.
-Either path you take, go to the white crosses and statue.
-Find the cross of ‘Charles Mifflin Hammond’ and look at his birthdate. The last two digits of the year he was born will be the amount of steps you will take towards the weeping willow tree.
-Once at the tree, search your surroundings for a large red metal structure and continue in that direction.
-Head straight down the open grassy hill into the woods.
-Take a sharp right into the woods and look for a tree with a bend pointing to the right.
-Search around this area, where you will find your patiently waiting letterbox!

***Please rehide carefully!!
