The Eagle is located atop the cliffs on Eagle Cliff Trail. Access the trail off of Bean Road, between Center Harbour and Sandwich. Hike up the 0.6 mile trail. The top of the trail is mostly rock and a scramble. Once you get to the top of the trail, enjoy the view of the lake from the cliffs. After enjoying the view look directly behind you at compass reading 130 degrees. Walk Aproximately 20 paces to the double yellow trail marker arrows. Standing at the double arrow, look right. Find the very tall pine tree with the blaze yellow trail marker. The letter box is hidden at the base of the pine tree beneath the heavy rock.
