This is a moderately strenuous letterbox search.

Take 910 West toward Indianola. You can reach this from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 48 (New Kensington/Pittsburgh) or from Route 28 North getting off at the Harmar Exit. -At this moment there is road work on 910 West and you may need to take a detour.- Ultimately you are looking for the intersection of 910 and Saxonburg Blvd, past the little town of Indianola.

Turn left onto Saxonburg Blvd. and proceed 1/2mile to Hartwood Elementary on the left. Turn into the school grounds and follow the road down to the parking lot on the right. You should see a large sign the reads BLUE RUN TRAIL on your right. At the base of the sign is the start of the trail. Follow the trail over wooden "bridges", down stone steps, past the Bealuh Frey teaching area, until you reach the ravine floor. Take the trail to the left.(This trail runs for miles in either direction crossing back and forth over a lazy stream that may or may not have water in it.) Follow the trail to the left for 1/4 mile or less. It will cross over the stream at a bunch of rocks. Count 60 paces from the other side of the stream, continuing to follow the trail. Look to your right and see a small side trail that climbs up the other side of the ravine. It will have many moss covered stone steps. At the top, count 10 paces from the last stone step. Look to your left to an area of three trees a few feet off the trail. There are several downed logs at the base of the trees. The letterbox is hidden in the logs covered with leaves.
