Follow the signs in Coventry to the Nathan Hale Homestead on South Street. Nathan, a young schoolteacher and patriot, gave his life for our nation in the Revoltionary War. His family home (museum open May 15TH - Oct. 15th; Wed - Sat 12 - 4 and Sunday 11 - 4 and weekends during Sept & Oct.) Check out the fabulous Farmer's Market on Sundays, 11 -2 from June thru October. Find the Holy Grove, the triangular piece of land surrounded by the driveways. Nathan's youngest brother, David, who became a minister, planted the original trees in the area and gave sermons here. And here, in the base of a hollow tree, you will find Pilgrim Boy. Please be discreet when people are around.
