This site in Hancock County was chosen because of its water access, essential for transporting large rocket stages, and its remoteness, providing a sound buffer of close to 125,000 acres. Tours of StenniSphere, the visitor center, depart from the Launch Pad at the Hancock County Welcome Center, where this microbox resides.
Directions:
From I10 near the western border of Mississippi, take exit 2 south to the Hancock County Welcome Center and park by the last covered picnic table (#2) on right.
Clues:
Walk to the picnic table and continue north 40 steps to a multi-trunk tree. Microbox is behind the first 2 trunks under bark. Please be discreet and replace as described.
