I love attending dog trials in beautiful shady Tautphaus Park. I don't care whether we win the blue ribbon but I do like getting the green one that means we earned a qualifying score.
Here's where to find your qualifying ribbon. Take Fountainview Drive in Tautphaus park to its end where there's a parking lot next to the baseball field. This is in the northeast corner of the park. From the parking lot look north and you'll see a variety of fences making up the north boundary of the park. Follow the fence line to the right (east) to where there's a corner. In that area is a large cottonwood tree - the only non-conifer. Next to it a smaller mnay trunked cottonwood is sprouting. Look in among the trunks for the box.
