Level of Difficulty: Easy short walk up and down a road.

Directions: From McCall take Warren Wagon Road/Route 21 north about 16 miles. After you pass FR 428 on your right turn left on FR 465. Drive on this dirt road for 1.4 miles until it ends.

Clues:

Scratchin’ Post: After a weekend of forgetting to bring my cortisone, I had to place this box because I could hardly wait to get to a store. Take the trail that starts where the road ends 24 paces to the uprooted stump on your left. My Scratchin’ Post itches inside the base.

Horse Bells: While my husband fished nearby, I was organizing my letterboxing things while inside our truck. As I lay there I heard these wind chimes, only they were getting closer. Before I knew it two horses with horse bells galloped in between our truck and our friends camper, that was an unexpected adventure something which I don’t see everyday, ever for that matter. As a result, you too can share in the fun. From where the road ends, continue back down the road about 152 paces where you will find a large white rock on the left about 15 feet off the road. Head 30 degrees up the gully 16 paces/32 steps to the next white boulder. At its rear the Horse Bells jingle. the flag.
