Box #1 of 2 boxes The Dogs in My Life
This is probably the box with the least purpose, but, this is a memory box for me and you will have a stamp to give you a reason to be here in this peaceful quiet place pursuing your hobby.

My dogs included a Boston Terrier/ Dachshund mix when I was young. Years later when I got married, we had a Miniature Grey Poodle and Black Labrador Retrievers. Then came our short-haired blue Chihuahua. Now we have our short-haired fawn-colored Chihuahua/ Jack Russell mix.

Others that are present and past in my 2 daughters families are: a Black Cocker Spaniel/Beagle mix, a beige/white King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, and Jack Russell Terriers.

When they say “Dogs are man’s best friend” it certainly is true. All that dogs want is to be loved and fed and kept safe and warm. And, in return, they give us love, devotion and companionship.

Directions: From Hebron center, travel south on Route 85 toward Colchester, watch for two cemeteries across the road from each other. Turn into the RIGHT cemetery. From Colchester center, travel Route 85 north toward Hebron, watch for two cemeteries across the road from each other. Turn into the LEFT cemetery.

Clues to the boxes: For both boxes, drive straight to the large cross, with the inscription for St. Joseph Memorial of Colchester. Walk to the right and way back toward a large dirt/leaf pile near a clump of trees. In the center of the trees at the bottom are BOTH boxes. If you can find some rocks to cover them better I would appreciate it. Be careful when leaving back onto Route 85 as to see cars coming is difficult and people often speed.
