We found this place on our way to another letterbox and have made the 45 minute drive from Cherokee, NC every time we go. It is a great little place that makes pottery and their own cheese. You can see the farm and cows that the cheese are made from as well as sit on the porch and enjoy the humming birds. We hope you thoroughly enjoy this place as much as our family.

Enjoy the hand thrown stoneware pottery and farmstead cheese.

Onto the clues:

From Bryson City, take I-74 West. You'll pass Southwestern Community College on right. You will go on a bridge that goes over Little Tennessee River.

Look for 28 North on right (Appalachian Highway). Take 28 North.

Follow this for quite some way. You'll go over Fontana Lake/Nantahala River. You'll enter Graham County. Go over Panther Creek (dad and I caught trout down there on left).

Pass Stecoah Welcome Center. Enjoy the two lane country drive.

Pass Teaberry Hill, then Pine Lake Ridge.

Look for Beckies country store on left and slow down. Just past Beckies is Yellow Branch Road on right. Turn Right on Yellow Branch road.

You'll pass a Wood Gallery sign on left. Soon after, turn right on Old Yellow Branch road and turn into driveway (immediate right).

Check out the pottery and taste the cheese. We recommend the Basil cheese. Sometimes you can see the pottery being made there. Ask about the farm. They generally close around 5 pm.

If you miss their hours, don't fret. Find the two green chairs on the porch. Sit down. Find the crock between the chairs, lift it to find your prize! Use the crock to stamp. Try to be discreet. Rehide under the crock.

Say "Hi!" to Karen and Bruce for us!
