***UPDATE**** WILL RETURN STAMP ONCE GATES OPEN THIS SUMMER!!!

The Durham Fair is the largest, all-volunteer agricultural fair in the state. It traditionally has been the last full weekend in September. I've been going to the fair even before I can walk. The only fair I've ever missed was the 1991, due to the hurricaine. My fondest memory is entering pumpkins, in the fair. My Grampa, who was a farmer, use to enter under my name. Guaranteed a blue ribbon, for a pumpkin that had to be loaded on the back of his old Chevy pick-up, by tractor :) When my Grandpa passed , in 1991 (the week of the hurricaine), I entered my first ever baked goods entery, french bread. With the help of my Grandpa, in heaven, I won best of show, for bakery! Please go to enjoy the farm animals, support the volunteer organizations and visit all the displays...

Go between the "Levi Coe Library" booth (they sell coffee, tea & hot chocolate) & my booth, "Middlefield Volunteer Fire Dept." (we sell breakfast, bread bowl chowder, chili dogs, kielbasa or ruben sandwiches) Directly in back of the MVFD booth, take a left to the brush/tree line. Between the green electrical building & the AT&T truck there is a multi-sister tree, under the rock, in the tire is your stamp! Enjoy the Fair!!!!
