This letterbox is located in Turkey Run State Park. The park is on State Road 47 southwest of Crawfordsville, IN.

Difficulty rating: 1 - Easy. In plain sight or can be found in a few minutes of searching.
Terrain rating: 3 - Steep elevation changes would make this difficult to traverse with a stroller.
(rated using the Letterbox Rating System - http://www.letterboxing.info/rating/key.php)

When you enter the park make sure you pick up a trail map. You will need it!

Cross the suspended bridge and start out following the trail that will take you to the coal mine. To find this trail you must turn left at the bottom of the stairs and follow the trail back under the bridge you just crossed.

Follow the trail up, up, up. You can rest on the bench before heading back down, down, down.

Check out the coal mine and see if you can find any bats!

When you come to the crossroads past the mine, choose the trail that veers away from Sugar Creek. It is back up, up, up you go. From the top of the stairs, count 20 paces (2 steps per pace). Look to the left of the trail for a tree that has the same number of trunks as the number of the trail you started out on. The letterbox is hidden in the middle of the trunks.

We chose this trail because it is one of the less traveled ones. If you want a challenge and some great scenery, go back and follow Trail 3. If you prefer a peaceful stroll through the woods continue the loop on the trail you are on.

Please let me know the condition of the box when you find it (barbw427@insightbb.com).
