Plan on walking a bit over two miles round trip.

Driving Directions: From the intersection of routes 83 and 94 in Glastonbury, drive east on rt. 94 (Hebron Avenue) for 0.7 miles. Turn left on Old Hebron Road and park where the road ends with parking for 8 or 10 cars.

Go through the metal gate and walk along the paved road (this will soon turn to dirt) past the concrete building on the right, a couple of right hand turns, a cool rock on the right melded with a tree, until you come in sight of the little pump building on top of the reservoir dam. Continue to your left, around to the top of the dam. At the top, turn left and keep right past a five trunked tree. When the trail appears to go left, stay straight into an evergreen forest and continue on the trail closest to the water, always keeping the water to your right and in sight. After a slight uphill and nearing the far end of the reservoir, a trail will come in from the left. At this three way intersection, look right (downhill) for a six to seven foot tall pointy stump with a fallen tree to the left of it. Behind this stump under a rock under a wood slab is the box.

Very busy place. Please take the box back to the trail to stamp in and use only light blue or turquoise ink. Thanks.
