To get to Ragged Mountain Preserve follow West Lane west off route 71-A (Chamberlain Highway) for 0.6 miles. Parking for the preserve is on the right.
From the parking lot follow the blue with red dot trail, going left when it separates. The blue/yellow trail connects the blue/red dot trail to the blue trail. You need to get to where the blue/yellow trail intersects with the blue and start walking back towards the blue/red dot. At the top of the first hill watch for a two sister tree on the right that marks the beginning of a four foot high ledge. On top of this ledge is a leaning tree. Look in the roots.
Previously this blue/yellow trail was very difficult to find but some (not all) reblazing has been done so hopefully this will make it easier to find.
This is most likely at least three miles round trip but Gizz didn't have his pedometer on.
