Start your hunt for the den of the Browsing Bear Letterbox on Hwy. 8 East between Cavour and Armstrong Creek. There is a pretty wayside located near the border of the National Forest.

In the wayside you will see a paved pull-off located on the west end. Begin your hung here. Walk the length of the pull-off and head into the forest. You will see a big tree stump on your left. There are lots of logs and limbs in front of it. Looks like a good place for a bear to hide, but you have farther to go. Up ahead and off to the right you will see a tall maple tree. You need to look up high to see its leaves. Directly behind this tree you will find the Browsing Bear's Den. Reach in and wake him up- he doesn't bite! Please stamp our book and yours. Then replace the bear in his den for the next hunter.
