From the center of Lenox, head South on 183. Just past Tanglewood, the road forks, take the right fork onto Richmond Mt. Rd. Continue up the windy road to the first road on the left, Lenox Branch Rd. Take Lenox Branch Rd. downhill about .75 miles, you will see the small parking area for Steven's Glen on your right.
Walk down the stairs to the information sign and go right at the fork. Follow the trail to the spur on the right that heads to the Glen. You will continue downhill and cross a bridge that has been partially washed away by a huge act of Mother Nature. At the next bridge, look up underneath at the far end. You will find your Letterbox there. It has remained safely in this spot since 2003.
I put a new log book in today (10/26/10), as the old one was full.
After you find the Letterbox, continue on up the trail to the falls. Enjoy this special place.
