Mitter Tmiff once belonged to a great Traveling Band, that played dancing music across Texas. When the rest of the musicians decided to settle down and live ordinary lives, he continued to travel to teach music to those who wanted to learn. In every town he visited, he left one of the Traveling Band's instruments in a secret spot. Mitter Tmiff hoped that one day, a very special student would find all of his instruments and re-form the Traveling Band to get the people dancing again.

Mitter Tmiff's piano is in Ranger City Park. He chose this particular spot for the piano's new home because it was the perfect place to hold an impromptu town dance whenever the townsfolk needed a night of merriment!

TO THE PARK:
From the I-20, take Exit 349 for TX Loop 254 into Ranger. Follow the Loop north into town. Turn left at the Main St light (the Oil Boom Museum will be on your left). Follow Main St until you see the city park and pool on the lefthand side of the street.

TO THE BOX:
Park in the parking lot and enter the playground to the left of the pool building. Cross the bridge at the back of
the playground. Turn right and follow the drain ditch (careful!) to the old building foundation behind the pool house. The box is hidden in the second opening in the wall on the right hand side (there are no openings on the left wall), covered with sticks and leaves. Please re-hide well.

Keep an eye out for the rest of Mitter Tmiff's instruments!

Please log your finds here and let us know if the box needs any maintenance.

**Anyone who carries camo tape or other camouflaging materials with them is welcome -- nay, highly encouraged -- to use them on this box to help it better blend in to the environment. If you do, please send us a note to let us know what method you used. Thanks!**
