About the Mountain Dew Series

My friends and I have an affinity for Mountain Dew. I will be planting a series of different Mountain Dew logos across Illinois to show my love for the "Green Nectar of the Gods."

We have a saying about this wonderful neon green liquid... "The first takes the hate away, the second gets a rid of the shakes and the third quenches the thirst."

Check out the other boxes in the series, Thompson Hall & Dead of Winter II

The Clues

Freeport is probably where I had my first taste of the good stuff. This is the logo that was used from 1999 to 2005.

Find the bike path on Kiwanis Drive. It is Just south of W. Loras Drive. I called it the "Kiwanis Bike Path" however this is not official title, I'm not sure it even has a name. If are boxing with a car you could park at Highland Community College or Monroe Clinic. Once you have located the path head east. When you reach light pole #5 stop and look for a large to just a bit ahead on the left. Your ice cold Dew is waiting for you in a large hole in a large tree. Please be careful there is a rusty bent fence that you need to step over.

Please reseal the bags/box and rehide the box out of view.
