First Box in Whiteside County
I remember hearing the name Rock Falls, as a child and I assumed there was a beautiful waterfall there. Sadly this community has been bamboozling travels and giving folks false hopes, until now. "The Falls" are a recent discovery.
The Clues
This box is for all my fellow "road warriors" out there! It is intended to give people some fresh air and stretch their legs. Enjoy & safe travels. Be on the look out for thorns!
Go to the Hennepin Canal access point (the West side parking lot, see map for better clarification). Park your car. Begin to walk down the path away from the 1st Ave. You will pass a HUGE downed tree on your right. From here count 60ish steps. This will bring you to two large trees with black boxes about head high. Go to the second tree. From the base of this tree find the wishbone log. The falls are hidden in the hallow left side.
Please reseal the bags and box tightly and rehide out of site. Be on the look out for muggles. This area can get pretty busy with walkers, joggers and cyclists.
