They Do Run Run Run, They Do Run Run

Cogshall Park, Mt. Elam Road entrance

A year ago, we adopted Aggie, a black lab mix puppy, from a shelter in Worcester. She had been cooped up in shelters her entire life. When she came home, all she wanted to do was Run! She'd run around the house chasing our three cats. She'd run like lightning four or five blocks when she'd get a chance to escape. She'd run like a deer through the woods helping to look for boxes. She'd run for hours chasing balls and squirrels. It took us over a year to harness that energy. She just passed her 2nd birthday and she still lives to run. This box is dedicated to all her and her four footed friends who love to run especially Morgan and Jonas (her Goldie pals). Every chance they get "They do run run, they do run run!! Too bad, we two footed folks don't have the time to enjoy such a simple pleasure.

Head to the Mt. Elam Road entrance and park in the Jean McCarthy field lot. Walk around the pond keeping the woods on your left. Follow the green dot trail until you see a very tall green dotted pine in front of you. Walk 10 paces on the left path to a downed tree. Proof that the runners were there is hidden in a crack in the log where the pile of sticks meets the log and under some bark and sticks. O, the Joy!
