A Moose is Loose in Eidelweiss

Eidelweiss is located off of route 113 in Madison, NH. The address to Eidelweiss Village is 144 Route 113N, Madison, NH 03849. Upon arrival take Eidelweiss Drive (main road) back following the road until you come to the pond. This is Boulder Beach. Park here and walk away from the pond toward the playground.

One day, two young boys named Andrew and Steven were playing in the play ground near Steven’s house in Madison, New Hampshire. They heard a rustling of leaves in the woods near where they played. The noise was coming from behind 4 big rocks just past the playground. They decided to go see what was out there. Just past the rocks they found a path, they immediately saw a giant rock on their left. They continued on and stopped at the white birch tree on their left to listen for more noises. They heard what sounded like snoring so they continued on quietly taking 55 steps farther down the path. They came to a large rock on their left and looked up to the left where they saw a fallen tree. They walked up to the roots of the tree and couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw a moose fast asleep.
