My five year old raptor is now a fourteen year old artist and this is his first carving. I expect great things from him in the future. Go Jared.
Directions to Rockwell Park: In Bristol, on Rt. 72 west go 0.6 mi. past the Rt. 69 intersection, turning right onto Dutton Ave. Follow the road straight in and park close to the end. The skate park will be on your left before you park. This is virtually a drive-by.
Head north, go through the "Rockwell" arch and over the bridge. Turn left passing the signs for the fitness trail, left at the Y and right at the next junction. Watch for the sign that says Sit and Reach with Knee Lift on the opposite side. With your back to the Knee sign look north for a stump up a small hill. Inside this stump is the Butterfly.
Use extreme caution getting this box and if you pre-print these clues check for new ones in the spring. I might find a better spot in warmer weather.
