This is the first letterbox I have ever planted, my sister introduced me and my family to letterboxing, so my daughters and I are planting this in her honor as my Christmas gift for her. Christmas in Vermont is magical, the beautiful snow and my wonderful family make it my favorite time of year. (I'm lucky the snow held out long enough for me to plant this though!) :-)

Begin where the Town kids learn, follow the paved path to the right where vehicles aren't allowed. You will come to a place to sit and rest, you can enjoy the people walking with their dogs or the joggers with a goal that only they can see in their minds, though your thoughts may be interrupted by the sound of a passing car a short distance away. When you are ready, continue on the path until you reach a boulder on your right. Stand behind the boulder with the path at your back, you will see two small trees and a small pine tree, walk to the other side of them, take 11 steps to the tree ahead of you. You will then see a log on the ground about 8 steps ahead, go to the end of the log where it is pointing towards the raod, look directly facing the road, take 10 steps to a downed tree with brush, the letterbox is buried beneath the brush.

Please contact me if you have any difficulties finding this, my 3 year old and 10 year old helped me with placing it.
