The Yawfle stares and stares and stares.
Afraid to go up or down the stairs.

Two miles round trip.

From the intersection of George Washington Turnpike and Case Road, go west on the turnpike and take the first left (no sign today) onto Stone Road. Drive 0.6 miles and park on the right near a gate.

Cross the road and enter the blue with red dot trail, going uphill and then down. There's another uphill and then a long stretch of flat, rocky trail. You'll know when you get to the final uphill because the top is marked with a rocky ledge on the right with a tree growing out of the beginning of it. Now start downhill, going through an old stone wall and then going even more steeply down. At the bottom of the hill is a bouldery section followed by a three limbed dead stump with a blaze on it (not to be confused with a tall snag that comes first). At this point the trail appears to fall off the edge of the earth so turn back and find a rock outcropping (pile?) with an evergreen at it's base. Bushwhack through the briars to the far end of the rocks and look under the overhang of the rock behind a scrawny sister tree.
