I'm told the pouch is taking on water. Leaving it upside down might help?

About 3 miles round trip. Magnetic pouch. The silver side goes against the beam, thanks.

Going west on Rt.185 from the intersection of Rt. 218, Talcott Mt. State Park is 3.3. miles on your left. The entrance is in Simsbury, though some of the park is in Bloomfield.

Hike up the yellow trail to the tower. Enjoy the view and then find the shell of a shed. Along the inside left wall is a steel beam. Reach down the inside of the far end of the beam. There are lots of ways to be sneaky in here but if park personnel are around please don't look for it.

We had six inches of snow overnight and this was a winter wonderland today. Quiet and peaceful.
