Any one who knows me knows that I love Winter. I don't do Winter sports anymore but I love watching them, skating, especially. As I was walking along the harbor area of Portland, I began daydreaming of skaters gracefully gliding on this endless frozen pond. I snapped back into reality as a smelly, sweaty jogger ran past me. Hurry, Winter, please. My nose needs a break!
To find my dream skater: Make your way to the corner of Eastern Promanade and Congress. Find the monument to the founder of Portland. Look at the bottom of the left bush on the side facing the harbor. Stamp in quickly or you might start daydreaming about skating or sledding just like me.
