The trail head for this walk is at the Hopkinton State Park Headquarters, which is on Rt 85, 1.4 miles south of the park entrance. It's on the opposite side of the road, at Smokey the Bear. Park to the left, across from the office door. Walk to the back- to the right and behind the garage.
Take the Duck Pond Trail towards the duck pond. Continue until you cross the small concrete bridge over the stream and climb the next hill.
You should see a grouping of boulders on your left. As you start to pass by, circle around to the back of the boulders on their right to find a tree with an elbow. Search under the elbow under a rock and leaves.
If you reach the pipeline trail, you've gone a little too far.
