As it sometimes happens, things are initially given names that are, in fact, wrong. For instance, the Horeshoe Crab is not a crab at all. It's closest relatives are actually scorpions and spiders! The same goes for "jellyfish" which aren't even fish. At Mystic Aquarium we are teaching the guests to call them just plain "jellies".
To find this little jelly park at the West Beach parking lot at Rocky Neck State Park. Go under the railraod trestle and take a left onto the boardwalk. It will eventually go into a wooded area. As you approach the right shunt to no where, look left for a large cedar. Under the cedar on the side closest to the fence, you will find an old railraod tie. The box is inside.
