East Brunswick Parks

This series of four letterboxes all go together to form one image, and their names correspond to their location in the larger image. The entire image fits on a 3*5 index card.

These boxes are all located in East Brunswick township parks.

BOTTOM:(status unknown)

Park: This box is in Frost Woods. Park at the end of Frost Avenue.

Clue: Frost Woods is a maze of unmarked trails. It can get tricky in there, with tons of intersections. From the gate, head SW. SW. S. W. W. At the three trunked tree head NNW. N. NNW. W all the way down hill (You're in the right spot if you see a green and orange pole). SE. SE. SE. S. Does this thing look familiar? From the S end of "thing" go 9 paces at 280 degrees to a stump, and the box is 2 paces to the right of that.

Right:

Park: You will want to park your car at the Teen Center, previously the Nature Center.

Clue: Take the path that leaves from the yellow gates toward the lakes. Follow this path around the SE side of the lakes. First, you'll spot #11, Muskrat Point. Then, on your right, you won't learn a thing. And then, you'll spot a tufted titmouse on your left. When you arrive at the junction with a sign point to 8A, take the path at 155 degrees. At 8, go 228 degrees. This trail will turn to 250 degrees, and run into a three trunked tree. From that tree, take 20 paces at 235 degrees to the box, inside a low lying tree stump (this may get covered with winter snows). Continue west to exit.

Left: (Missing)

Park: This park was built on DeHart family plantation land.

Clue: Begin by facing the three daisies. Take the paved path at 40 degrees. Pass the remnants of the wall, where water was gated in to be sold off as ice. When you come to a junction of two paved paths, walk 42 paces down the one at 120 degrees. From this spot you can see two benches. Take a seat in the middle of the one at 98 degrees. From there, it is 13 paces at 25 degrees, to a hole in the base of a tree. Look carefully!

TOP:

Park: This is the township's latest edition to the Parks family - as of 2003. (hint: this does not include ramps in cages). You will have to park your car in a neighboring park.

Clue: Find the painting of Papilio glaucus (f). From there, you will spot a mimosa at approximately 280 degrees. From that tree, head down the trail that enters the woods at 255 degrees. Stop at the sixth bench in the woods. Proceed at 9 degrees, 23 paces to a single tree. Then, 11 paces at 224 degrees to a dead V.
