Park at the first parking lot. Walk down the dirt fire road 1/3 mile to where the red trail crosses the dirt road. There is a marker for campsites 2-5. Go left and follow the red trail up the hill.

1. Rico – At the top of the hill there is a trail sign with the big boulder on the left. The red trail will meet up with the purple trail. Follow the purple trail to the big rock slab overlooking the Housatonic River. Find the compass symbol painted on the rock. If you are looking at the river, do an about face. NNW there is a lonely boulder 33 paces away. Look for Rico at the base of the tree directly behind the rock.

2. Skipper – Walk back down the purple trail to the intersection of the red and purple trails. From the sign post turn to 145 degrees SE. There is a Triple Agent (three sister tree). At the base of the tree there is a trap door. This is where Skipper is hiding.

3. Kowalski - Walk back down the red trail to the dirt road. Follow the red trail across the street and follow the trail over the wooden bridge. Continue on the red trail to the intersection of the orange trail. Follow the orange trail 95 paces to a place where the orange trail splits an old stone wall. About 10 paces up the hill look for a flat “Tombstone” rock in the wall. This is where Kowalski is hiding.

4. Private – Walk back down the orange trail to the red trail and continue on the red trail until it intersects with the blue trail. Follow the blue trail for about 35 paces. There will be an old tree stump on the left. Look up the hill to the right at the big three sister tree. Private is hiding is a trap door at the base of another tree 10 paces further up the hill past the three sister tree.

5. Skipper’s Prize - Once you’ve found Private, go back down the hill to the blue trail and continue on the blue trail up the hill to the trail map sign at the intersection with the yellow trail. From there, continue on the blue trail and follow it for 4 of the blue trail blazes up the hill. From the 4th blaze, look right. About 20 paces there is a three sister tree. At the base of the tree, behind a few rocks is Skipper’s Prize.

Follow the blue trail back down to the intersection with the yellow trail. Go left onto the yellow trail and follow it all the way down to the red trail. Hop on the red trail. A short walk over the bridge will bring you back to your car.
