Spring Bouquet is a series of three letterboxes hidden in the Forney Community Park. You will walk approximately 3/4 mile out and 3/4 mile back. Both kid and dog friendly. Enjoy a picnic lunch.
Enter the park and drive to the Family Recreation Area. Park vehicle and walk into playground area. Follow path passed the basketball and volleyball courts and continue on path. As always be mindful of wildlife.
1. Nobody knows this little Rose

Nobody knows this little Rose --
It might a pilgrim be
Did I not take it from the ways
And lift it up to thee.
Only a Bee will miss it --
Only a Butterfly,
Hastening from far journey --
On its breast to lie --
Only a Bird will wonder --
Only a Breeze will sigh --
Ah Little Rose -- how easy
For such as thee to die!
@ first 1/4 mile marker, just before the first bridge look to the left at the 2nd tree back. The "little rose" can be found at the base of the tree buried under dried leaves. Please be sure to recover.
2. How many Flowers fail in Wood

Or perish from the Hill --
Without the privilege to know
That they are Beautiful --
How many cast a nameless Pod
Upon the nearest Breeze --
Unconscious of the Scarlet Freight --
It bear to Other Eyes --
Continue down the walking path. Before crossing the 2nd bridge there is a large tree to the left, just behind the "gate". It is wrapped in barbwire, so be careful. "Failing flowers" can be found at the base of the forked trunk.
3. Climbing to reach the costly Hearts

Climbing to reach the costly Hearts
To which he gave the worth,
He broke them, fearing punishment
He ran away from Earth --
Continue down walking path. Cross over the third bridge. Soon the path will come to a street. Follow the path to the left. You will come to some tree marked in Packers and Viking colors. Turn the corner and go sit on the bench. Turn your head sharply to the right, looking over your shoulder. A tree is almost on the ground. Look for "costly hearts" at the base.
