This box was placed for two very special girls. They had just learned about letterboxing. After their first find we knew this would be the perfect way to celebrate their birthdays! So two months later we placed 4 letterboxes around downtown Brenham and had one of the best birthday parties two 9 year olds could ever wish for!

In Downtown Brenham there is a feed store named Green Grain Feed and Seed. It has been there for years and years. A true walk back in time. In the spring you may stop in and a buy seeds and plants for your springtime planting, but the best part is they sometimes sell cute little bunnies or chicks! On the backside of Green Grain Feed and Seed is the Brenham's Farmers Market open in the spring and summer.

Clues:
From the courthouse stairs go 1/2 blk east on Alamo Street. Turn Right on Baylor and travel 1 blk. Cross Commerce St. Green Grain will be 1/2 way down the street, 304 S. Baylor.
Facing Green Grain Feed and Seed go to the right side of the building. The box is located in this long brick wall on the side of the building. Looking at the brick wall you will see that the wall could be two different outside walls joined together at different time periods. Walk down to the second wall that would have been attached at a different time. This will be halfway down the parking lot. Thinking of the second wall as a grid count up 6 bricks and over 30 bricks. The letterbox is hidden in the hole of this brick.
