The Williston Daisies have left a letterbox on the Allen Brook Nature Trail. The Allen Brook Nature Trail is a short 0.5 mile loop trail that passes through small stand of woods on the Williston Central School property. The trail crosses over the Allen Brook, where there is a boardwalk and observation platform for nature study or quiet contemplation. There are two playgrounds on the school property.
• Walk across the observation platform
• take a left when you get on the dirt trail
• When you see a fork in the trail take a right
• Take approximately 35 paces and find the fallen tree with lot’s of knots and holes
• You will see a tree next to it that is upright but leaning on another tree
• Walk all around the fallen tree
• Please be sure to put our letterbox back
