Holly Hills

From “downtown” Alloway head South on South Greenwich St., which is Route 540.

Take first left onto Alloway Friesburg Road (at the Bank).

Drive 2.9 miles, you’ll see a sign for Holly Hills on your left. There is a development called Holly Hills on your right, but you want to turn Left into the parking lot.

At the parking lot, head towards the NNW corner of the lot, near large evergreen shrubs.

Take the path on the Right of the evergreen shrubs.

At the end of the asphalt, take a Right onto a dirt path.

Pass by a pond on your Right.

Continue on the path as it curves around.

At the fork, go Left into the woods.

Soon you will come to a fairway on your Right. (If you see a pond on your Left you’ve gone too far).

Turn onto the fairway, and walk toward the lone oak tree.

Walk along the sand trap when you get to it.

Pass the 3-pronged oak tree on your Left, then after about 12 paces, turn into the woods on your Right.

At the fallen log, turn to your Right.

You’ll see a 4-pronged holly tree.

What you seek is inside.
