"We're gonna need a bigger boat" letterbox:
Verified in place as of 10-31-05 (logbook replaced)
This box and others are in the large cemetery in Harrison Ohio, just one exit West of the one you take to get to Miami White Water forest. Just before the Indiana border on I-74, only about 25 minutes from downtown Cinci. See also "What we have here...", "I see dead people", & "The Truth"
Directions:
From I-74, take Exit #1 (Harrison). If you were West bound on I-74, you'll turn left and cross over the hwy. If you were East bound (on your way back from the near by Indiana boxes), you'll want to turn right (away from the overpass).
Go about 2/10th of a mile to Harrison Av and turn right (there is a Shell station on the corner). Follow Harrison Av toward Historic Downtown Harrison, but watch for Hill St on your right. You'll turn right onto Hill (by the RCA shop).
Follow Hill through the stop signs and around the bend and go into Glen Haven cemetery.
CLUES:
"We're gonna need a bigger boat" letterbox
This line is from Jaws. It's one of my favorite lines and the stamp is one of my very favorites!
Finding this box will require a short walk across grass.
Find the storage shed/garage that is at the end of a dead end road. From the dead end, you should be able to see the sign for the "Historic Woodlawn Cemetery". From the sign, go 16 paces at 120 degrees. Look at the base of a large cedar tree under a ROCK on the NE side (It's NOT under the small grave stone). Please re-hide it so that it looks like the rock has been there awhile so that the grounds keepers don't remove it. Let me know if you found it or not: DogScouts@hotmail.com
