What’s Easter without a plump chocolate rabbit hippity hopping through the green cellophane grass? Move over marshmallow peeps and other Easter candy delights. Its time to savor the tastiest chocolate bunny treat of them all, “Horace H. Heffelflopper”! The Heffelflopper hoppers were created in1978 by the R. N. Palmer Company of Reading, PA. Every time sink your teeth into the scrumptious 6" Horace, the 4" Horace Jr. or the 12" Grandbunny Heffelflopper, you’re chomping down on one of 25,000,000 hollow rabbits that Palmer produces annually. Which do you eat first, Ears or Feet??

Now for the clues ....
Brownie, the chocolate Lab began to follow Horace down the bunny trail hoping for a few slobbery licks. She picked up his mouth watering aroma just below the map and took off running 240 degrees to the silver disk 228 hanging on something tall and thin standing all alone. Which way did he go? From the mossy side of the rock, she headed 180 degrees to 241. That thing holding 241 reminded her of her favorite scary night in October. Not finding Horace hiding in the bushes, she continued running 150 degrees to 239. Are those goosenecks I see? Sniffing deeply, she picked up his scent again, heading 100 degrees to 220. That thing holding 220 was an old smoothie. Every place she stopped reminded her of how hungry she was getting. She headed 130 degrees to 44. The scent of chocolate made her droll. “Ears or feet, ears or feet, ears or feet?” Whoa!! Bad doggie! I know the rules, she thought, just a few licks. She slowed down and headed 20 degrees to the smooth message holder across the way. Where was he hiding? None of the carved messages gave her any clue. Sniffing around, she spotted 3 gnarly toes on the left side. Aha! There he goes! From there, she ran 80 degrees to 13. I should have known, he’s hiding where he always does. Oops, he isn’t here! She ran 120 degrees to the road’s edge and sat down. That’s what good doggies do, you know! She looked both ways and continued running towards 3 stone structures. Only one place left to look. She sniffed around all 3. The center one caught her attention as a whiff of chocolate filled her nose. Got you now! she said. You’re hiding in the rear behind those 2 river rocks. Lick, lick, slobber, slobber. You’re delicious, as always! Oh my, its getting late, she said. I’ll be back again to play tomorrow! Horace H. Heffelflopper winked his big blue candy eye and smiled. Yep, see you tomorrow! Same time, same place, he said and scampered off into the woods.

(This box is located on the B&G Club's property after you cross the road. Be aware of construction muggles until mid 2011). Real Leashed Dogs are welcome.

Happy Easter all year long! Rejoice, He is Risen!
