From Spokane Valley, go west on I90 and take exit 280A. This is the Maple Street exit, it will put you on 4th. Go about four blocks. You will need to take a left onto West Sunset Blvd, then go about four blocks you will need to take a slight right on s. Coeur d alane st. It drops down under the bridge take the second right onto west 11 ave it turns right and becomes High Bridge Park it’s a dirt road in to the park. Park on the south side you will see the pavilion this is where you need to go. Go to the north east corner, count off 50 steps. This was my six year old grandson’s favorite part. Now cross over the dirt road. You will see a small tree praying over the river then to the north there will be a set of twin trees. The bigger one to the north will have your baby turtle at the east base of the tree. Be careful not to fall down the hill, please put the baby turtle back and out of view of those folks not letter boxing. Thank you and hope you enjoyed the view of the river and park.
