1)Go to the mausoleum; walk around until you see the name Ernest W. JR Pettit who is a World War II Veteran. 2)Turn around and face the American flag. Honor the people who fought in the war. 3)Now turn to the left and walk up to the other building and honor people there. 4)Walk back down to the first building, 5)Walk down to a U-shape with a statue in it. 6)Follow the statue’s eyes into the bushes. 7)It should be right in the middle and the box will be there.

1) There were a lot of veterans buried there.
2) Some contributors to this graveyard are David Woody, Rik Van Beveran, Robert “Rob” Weller, and Jim Cox.
3) Spotswood was founded in 1971, by a guy named Alexander Spotswood who was Colonial Governor of Va.
4) Jackson attacked shields, coming southward to join Fremount, but was repulsed by Ewell Jackson attacked again and drove shields from the field at the same time he burned the bridge at Port Republic, preventing Fremount from coming to shield’s aid.
5) On Mill Creek, Jackson’s rearguard, under Ewell, was attacked by Fremount, June 8, 1862.
6) In 1968 John L. Hopkins II, sat in a confrence discussing how to prevent water from continuously overflowing the lands, which was farmland later they discussed problem with waste.1. • The cross road here roughly divides the confederate and union lines in the battle of June 9, 1862 Jackson attacked shields, coming south to join Fremont but was repulsed reinforted by Ewell. Jackson attacked again and drove shields away from the field. At the same time he burned the bridge at Port Republic, preventing Fremont from coming to Shields aid.
• Rte 33, at Rte 276, 2.6 miles southeast of Harrisonburg eastern city limits. Three miles south, on Mill Creek Jackson’s rearguard, under Ewell was attacked by Fremont, June 8 1862 Trimble, of Ewell’s command counterattacked, driving the unions back. Jackson, with the rest of his army was near Port Republic awaiting the advace Shields up the east bank.
