1) Head northeast on US-11 N/N valley pike toward VA-259 W
2) Turn left onto VA-259 W/Maryland Rd
3) Turn left toward E Spring brook Rd
4) Continue straight onto E Spring brook
5) Turn right
6) Go past Broadway High school to the intersection
7) Park in the field on the right
1) You will come to an old red house at a stop sign on West Spring Brook Rd.
2) From there you will see an historical landmark bridge, this bridge will have hybrid Pratt Warren truss.
3) But you will have to pull into a little road on the side closest to the railroad tracks the construction of the bridge was built out of limestone wood and iron it was built by a nation wide company that builds bridges throughout the country.
4) From there you should see a posted sign. You should walk to the sign, and you will see a feed mill. This mill was put there at the same time the bridge was, they started selling products out of there in 1996, and they made $997.6 million dollars the year.
5) You will for two big rocks that will then stand on, and you should look at the historic bridge.
6) Look back toward the creek to see if u sees anything.
7) Turn back around and count the rafters to this historic landmark. When you count all of them and get o the end of the bridge, you should see what you are looking for
