Difficutly: Easy
Distance to Microbox: 150 yards one way.

Status of Microbox: Reported missing on 11/30/08

The "Don't Mess With Texas" Microbox is located in downtown Waco, under the old Suspension Bridge. This bridge was build in 1868, and is the oldest of its kind. Also in the park is Waco Springs, and old natural spring used by the Waco indians.

Directions:
From I-35, go west on University Park. Just past Franklin, the park is on the right. Park along the road on S. University Park.

To the Microbox:
Walk to the bridge. Go east on a cement path away from the bridge. Take the stairs down (past stone marker for Waco Springs), going north, then east, then north again until you are at the river bank. Go left to the springs (on your left). Now go west along the river for 80 paces, under the bridge, to a ramp going up. Go up west, then back east, then turn to go up west again but stop. Go to the southeast corner of this platform, where the headwall meets the railing. The microbox is in the corner of the planting box at this Southeast corner of ramp, covered with dirt and leaves. (You will see 2 screws in the headwall just above the location of the box).

Re-hide well.
