Back in 1973, at the tender age of 19, Time2Retire began his Railroading career. Following in his Granddad’s footsteps as a Railroader, he began as a Fireman working for the Penn Central RR. Soon after, he was promoted to Train Engineer. For 38 years, he has driven trains working local and road jobs for various lines delivering and moving freight all the way from VA to ME. Today, he has reached a historic milestone. Only “1000 days to go” before he hangs up his “Choo-choo Charlie” cap forever. There aren’t a lot of people around who can honestly say that they’ve really enjoyed their job, as much as him. In less then 3 years, he’ll be changing his trail name to IMRetired! I’m sure he can hardly wait to hear his French Canadian friends’ greeting: “toute fini”! (”You’re finished”!) Only “1000 Days to Go, but who’s counting?", he says.?
When you see a freight train go by, don’t forget to wave. It might be T2R, our real-live Choo-choo Charlie, driving by on his very last day!

Make your way to Nemco Way. Follow the road through the industrial park to the dirt road. Head down the dirt road and park at the beginning of the line of rocks on the left side. Head up the path to the crest of the hill and look under the front of the large rock. The count down has begun!

Watch out for muggles (railfans, birders and residents who live up the road)! Thanks Arf! for the 3 carves!!!
As of 8/20/12, just 460 left!!
